Archīvum Caeruleī

For years, I have been keeping notes about things that, despite how interesting I may find them, they seem to remain in obscurity, or confined to small circles. Part of the problem is that most of these things find themselves behind language barriers, either requiring proficiency in languages other than English, or have simply been ignored by many, and subsequently forgotten by most.

In this day and age, where the flood of media spews out thousands of gigabytes of content, and the ebb and flow of information settles into layers and layers of endless data, it is very easy for things to end up buried deep under hundreds of unrelated entries. Or worse, they become media to be consumed and immediately discarded.

For this reason, it is of utmost importance to register as much as possible; not only the content itself, but also our ideas and thoughts about the subject. Mankind has discovered the power of language by creating a set of symbols that allowed us to pass information down from generation to generation. Discussing the words of the ancients has brought forth new ideas and shaped our world. It is, thus, through discussion and analysis, that individuals come to new conclusions and insights, enriching their existence and broadening their horizons.

The mission of this site, therefore, is to provide an archive primarily for myself about the things I like. It is my sincere hope, however, that it may also become a beacon of light that guides people through the darkness when they come across and enquire topics that heretofore were inaccessible to them at all.
