Since my main library consists of doujin circles, I occasionally find one or two pieces that either have no translation available, or no published lyrics at all. This prompts me to transcribe and translate these lyrics, although sometimes this extends to non-doujin music as well.

I have catalogued these translated pieces first by circle, and then by artist — where applicable. Other pieces that were not published under a circle, are not doujin, or were published under a pseudonym, are catalogued by artist name (or pseudonym). All the entries are in alphabetical order.

Sometimes, I translate short stories from the Aozora Bunko Library: a public, digital library, containing several thousand of out-of-copyright literary works, both fiction and non-fiction. While a considerable number of these works have been translated in the past by various publishers, many of them remain obscure and inaccessible to the Western world. Particularly, works from the late 19th century and early 20th century. Aozora Bunko has remained an indispensable source for investigating per and post Meiji Japan, as well as the literary movements that develped thereabout.

I also translate other works (with due permission), which are available for free on the internet, published by their authors. These mainly consist of fanworks of media that I like.

Lastly, I sometimes translate miscellaneous excerpts I find on the internet. From blogs entries, to images that contain character information, to reviews or thoughts on media. Sometimes it is simply a lot of things that fall under the same scope as other entries, hence I group all of them together here.
